One of the members from Neogaf forums leaked screenshots from Valve’s PowerPoint presentation which shows Source 2.0 engine prototype being used with Left 3 Dead 2’s Plantation level from Swap Fever campaign.
The news of Valve working on Source 2.0 engine isn’t new since Gabe Newell revealed that its in the works in 2012, but would launch the engine along with a promising game. The presentation however shows Left 4 Dead 2 with graphic details such as enhanced foliage and lighting, shadow effects, etc.

There’s no news whether or not this game will be used on Half Life 3. Its only a matter of time that this engine makes a debut, question now remains: when and with which game will it make a debut?
